Job Description
This part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position offers an opportunity to provide therapeutic services to preschool-aged students in an educational setting. The role supports a supervising Physical Therapist by delivering direct therapy, completing progress notes, and managing assigned caseloads. The position is itinerant, requiring work across two school sites in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Location:
- Chandler site: 2 days per week
- West Phoenix site: 1 day per week
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona PTA license is mandatory
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred
- Ability to deliver therapy services and maintain accurate documentation
- Comfortable functioning in a multi-site, itinerant role
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to preschool children
- Support supervising PT in caseload management and therapy delivery
- Complete progress notes and other required documentation
- Work across two assigned school locations, adapting as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and participate in IEP processes where applicable
Contract Details:
- Contract to hire opportunity
- Part-time schedule, 3 days per week (2 days in Chandler, 1 day in West Phoenix)
- Start date ASAP, continuing through the end of the school year (exact dates to be confirmed)
- Interview process conducted individually via Zoom or in-person
