Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active North Carolina PTA license is required
  • Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with licensed PTs, educators, and support staff
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct PTA interventions and support for students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with supervising PT to adjust and implement treatment strategies in school settings
  • Accurately record progress notes, assist with assessments, and maintain compliance to school district protocols
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to encourage optimal student mobility and participation
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as needed to enhance service delivery
