Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license issued by the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of best practices in physical therapy for children
• Effective communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct interventions to elementary school students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in team meetings as requested
• Adapt and modify physical therapy activities to suit each child's unique needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of sessions and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to support integrated learning and development
