Qualifications:
- Active and valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Comfortable following physical therapy plans, documenting progress, and adapting to varying student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy interventions designed by a supervising Physical Therapist to help students improve mobility, strength, balance, and motor skills
- Support the integration of therapy goals into students daily routines and classroom activities
- Collect data and document student progress toward individualized therapy objectives
- Collaborate regularly with occupational therapists, teachers, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive student care
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as district-specific policies
