Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in California
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP goals and school documentation protocols
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physical therapists, educators, and family members
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with supervising physical therapists to support students mobility and participation in daily activities
• Implement individualized therapy plans for students with a variety of physical and developmental needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Provide feedback and helpful strategies to teachers and families for classroom and home use
• Support a positive and inclusive environment for all students
