Job Description
Transform your expertise in physical therapy into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across Morrow County. This full-time onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working itinerantly across 5-6 schools, with a current caseload in the 50s (expected to decrease). You'll be engaged in assessment, evaluation, direct therapy, and participation in IEP meetings, all within a collaborative educational environment.
The assignment is set to run through June 12th, with the strong likelihood of continuing through the next school year. Interviews are conveniently conducted via Zoom, with swift hiring decisionsbe ready to start as soon as possible.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon PT or PTA licensure required
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, evaluation, and delivery of therapeutic interventions
- Confident in providing services across multiple school locations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable attending and contributing to IEP meetings
- Fingerprinting and background check required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and interventions to a diverse student population
- Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Participate actively in IEP planning and meetings
- Adapt to an itinerant role, traveling between assigned schools
- Support the reduction of caseload in line with district-wide initiatives
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
