In this pivotal position, you'll deliver skilled physical therapy to a diverse student population, creating individualized plans that foster growth, independence, and inclusion in school activities. Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure students receive holistic support to meet their learning and mobility goals.

Preferred candidates will bring a background in school-based or pediatric physical therapy, alongside excellent communication and adaptability skills to meet the needs of students at multiple grade levels.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active physical therapist license in Louisiana
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Commitment to supporting students physical development and access to educational opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students physical needs and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services in group or one-on-one settings
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress notes
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
