Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Valid and current Ohio physical therapist license
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to different student needs

What Youll Do:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to support students gross motor and functional mobility skills
• Participate in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct thorough assessments and document progress to inform instruction and programming
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student participation and inclusion in school activities
• Provide training and resources to school staff as appropriate
• Adapt strategies and interventions to fit the needs of students from a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
