Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license is required
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Expert communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
• Flexible and adaptive approach to working with teams and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students enrolled in the ESY program
• Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to determine students therapeutic needs and progress
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to develop and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Foster a supportive and positive environment to encourage student engagement and independence
• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress and recommendations as needed
