Key Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin Physical Therapy License
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Commitment to fostering student independence and mobility
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students ages 3-21 as directed by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to promote student success
- Assess students motor skills, using evidence-based evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional movement and participation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide ongoing documentation of progress
- Educate students, families, and staff on adaptive equipment and proper mobility techniques
