Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- At least one year of experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to students within the Extended School Year (ESY) program
- Assess students physical development and mobility needs
- Develop, implement, and adapt treatment plans aligned with IEP and ESY requirements
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on student goals
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to promote student mobility and participation throughout the school day
