A contract Physical Therapist position is available in a school setting located in Webster, NY. This role focuses on providing specialized therapeutic interventions to support the physical development and mobility of students within the educational environment. The therapist will collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver individualized treatment plans that enhance students' functional abilities and promote their success in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students
• Implement therapy sessions aimed at improving strength, coordination, balance, and mobility
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals with academic objectives
• Document progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New York
• Experience working in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of common physical therapy interventions for school-aged children
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
