Step into a rewarding contract position supporting preschool students with physical therapy services in a school-based environment near Webster, NY. This role is ideal for a dedicated physical therapist eager to make a positive impact on young learners as they develop essential physical skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure
- Experience or strong interest in school settings, particularly with preschool-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students while delivering effective, individualized therapy plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to preschool students, both individually and in small groups
- Develop and implement treatment plans customized to each students needs and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and family members to support holistic student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to team discussions
