Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license for the state.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric or school-aged populations.
  • Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with other professionals, students, and families.
  • Capacity to adapt treatment plans and therapy approaches to diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate student needs and create individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals.
  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services within the school setting.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings.
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and participation.
  • Modify classroom equipment or recommend devices to improve learning access.
