Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Pediatric experience, especially in a school-based or educational environment, is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic about contributing to a student-focused team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students motor and functional skills
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment and intervention plans that support students educational access
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and special education teams to integrate therapy within the learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and document progress
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and families to ensure carryover of therapeutic strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and professional requirements
