Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated physical therapist to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting! A contract position is open for an experienced PT who thrives working directly with students across multiple school sites. This onsite role will allow you to support student success through individualized physical therapybuilding vital skills, fostering independence, and collaborating alongside educators and families.

What youll bring:

  • Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license (required)
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a K-12 school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of PT assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and administrators
  • Flexibility to adapt services to a diverse student population
  • Commitment to provide onsite, in-person therapy only

Core responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct PT services to students in a variety of school settings (grades K through 12)
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to support students physical development
  • Create a safe, supportive environment to foster each childs potential

  • Contract from July 29, 2026 through May 27, 2027
  • Full-time: 37.5 hours weekly across multiple school campuses
