Make a positive impact supporting K-8th grade students as a Physical Therapist in a contract role located near Walker, LA. This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support to students in need while maintaining a balanced, flexible schedulejust one day per week, one hour per week.

Required Qualifications:

• Active and current Physical Therapist license (LA PT) in the state of Louisiana
• Prior experience delivering physical therapy services in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with individualized treatment planning for children grades K-8
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
• Strong organizational skills and empathy in working with students on diverse caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized support plans for each student on caseload
• Deliver targeted therapy in alignment with IEP goals and school objectives
• Maintain clear documentation of services rendered and student progress
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to optimize student achievement
• Foster a welcoming, supportive environment for students at all therapy sessions
