Job Description

As a vital member of the education community, youll work 30.5 hours over five days each week, providing specialized PT services across a variety of ages and abilities. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom, fostering independence and confidence.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid California PT License is required
  • Familiarity with school-based PT settings and IEP processes preferred
  • Experience supporting K-12 student populations
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptable approach to tailoring interventions for diverse student needs
  • Commitment to promoting student success and access in all educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to support motor development and functional mobility
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure student needs are met
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies that encourage student participation
