What Youll Need:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Strong knowledge of school-based practices and transition-aged youth
  • Experience in a school environment or working with similar age groups preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering independence and meeting student goals

What Youll Do:

  • Assess and address the unique physical therapy needs of students on your caseload, focusing on those aged 18-22
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with school staff, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and therapy services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input to support students post-secondary success
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for adaptive equipment, mobility, and transition planning
