What Youll Need:
- Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Strong knowledge of school-based practices and transition-aged youth
- Experience in a school environment or working with similar age groups preferred
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering independence and meeting student goals
What Youll Do:
- Assess and address the unique physical therapy needs of students on your caseload, focusing on those aged 18-22
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with school staff, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input to support students post-secondary success
- Serve as a resource and advocate for adaptive equipment, mobility, and transition planning
