Just outside Vallejo, this role offers hands-on experience within a supportive and collaborative academic environment for the 26/27 school year. Youll enjoy the opportunity to work on a part-time basisthree days per weekin one conveniently located school.
Your main focus will be on delivering essential physical therapy services for students, playing a key role in their educational journey and personal growth. You'll collaborate closely with educators and other specialists to help students thrive physically and academically.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in California
- Pediatric or school-based experience highly valued
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct physical therapy services within school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents on student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the team
