A physical therapist opportunity is available in Vail, AZ, supporting students on the autism spectrum during the 26/27 school year. This onsite contract role involves working two days per week within a school setting, providing specialized physical therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of this student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to students impacted by Autism, promoting mobility, function, and independence.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and communicate with educators and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Possession of an IVP fingerprint card required for school access.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically students with Autism, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff.
