Key Qualifications:
- Current and active California Physical Therapist license required
- Experience in pediatric or school-based PT preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Team-oriented with a positive, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine physical therapy needs and establish goals in coordination with the IEP team
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students mobility, coordination, strength, and functional skills within the school environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to facilitate student participation and inclusion
