You'll collaborate with caring educators, families, and other specialists, creating tailored therapy plans that support each student's unique needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Alabama
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Comfortable conducting assessments and developing evidence-based treatment strategies
• Effective communicator who can work well with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to organize caseload, manage documentation, and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate students physical abilities and develop goal-oriented therapy plans
• Implement therapy sessions to improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support student progress within the classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, documenting goals and reporting on outcomes
• Educate staff and caregivers on assistive devices and adaptive techniques
• Maintain accurate records, provide progress updates, and ensure adherence to all school policies and state regulations
