Play a vital role in supporting student development in a dynamic school environment! This full-time contract position is perfect for an experienced Physical Therapist who is passionate about working with K-12 students in a collaborative, onsite setting. As an itinerant PT, you'll provide services across several school sites, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist license for South Carolina (SC PT License required)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills for working across multiple school locations
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet a diverse student population with wide-ranging needs
• Enthusiasm for working in an educational environment, supporting students, staff, and families

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students at various school sites, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to support student achievement and access to the curriculum
• Complete evaluations, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes in accordance with district and legal requirements
• Travel between assigned school locations as needed during the school week
