A physical therapist opportunity is available in Tucson, AZ, serving students within a school setting for the 26/27 school year. This contract position requires onsite work two days per week. The caseload primarily includes students impacted by autism, providing a rewarding environment to apply specialized therapeutic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to students affected by autism
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student development and mobility goals
- Document therapy sessions and progress accurately in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and formulate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card for onsite school access
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within educational settings
- Knowledge of strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorder
Location:
- Tucson, Arizona (onsite work required)
