Qualifications:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy
Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (required)
Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatrics preferred
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
Ability to adapt therapy techniques for individual developmental needs
Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students
Deliver physical therapy services to help students achieve functional goals
Support students in accessing their educational environment and curriculum
Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Provide training for school personnel as appropriate
Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
