Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Prefer prior experience with school-based or pediatric populations
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual student needs across age groups
• Proficient with documenting progress and collaborating with educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for students in K-12 settings
• Craft individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans with measurable outcomes
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student learning and participation
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state documentation standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student abilities and progress
• Advocate for the physical well-being and safety of all students by recommending classroom accommodations or adaptive equipment
• Educate staff and caregivers on appropriate strategies for student support
