This contract role offers the chance to work closely with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, empowering them to achieve their best physical potential within an educational setting. You'll enjoy a flexible weekly schedule of 2530 hours across 4 or 5 days, tailored to your preferences.
Candidates must hold an active California Physical Therapist License. While previous school-based experience is valued, enthusiasm for serving students in schools will also be strongly considered, making this an excellent position for both seasoned professionals and those eager to enter the school-based field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist License in good standing
- Background in healthcare, particularly as a PT or PTA, especially welcome
- Familiarity with the needs of K12 students preferred, but not required
- Commitment to making a positive impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to K12 students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with school district guidelines
- Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of students in both individual and group settings
