Job Description

Provide specialized physical therapy services in an educational environment, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is based in Santa Monica, CA, requiring collaboration with school staff to create and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance students' physical development and educational access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatment to K-12 students
• Develop individualized therapy goals in collaboration with educators and families
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Assist in educating school staff on physical therapy techniques and strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license (required)
• Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage caseload and maintain thorough documentation
• Commitment to a 30.5-hour workweek over five days
