Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Physical Therapy (PT) License
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students across K-12 grades
- Provide direct physical therapy services, including interventions and progress monitoring
- Support students participation in classroom and school activities by minimizing mobility-related barriers
- Document evaluations, progress reports, and services in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the team
- Educate staff and families on strategies to promote generalization of therapy goals
