Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current New Mexico physical therapist license required
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Enthusiastic about helping students of varied ages and backgrounds achieve their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels as indicated on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Evaluate, assess, and document students needs, progress, and outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies for success in educational environments
• Develop therapeutic exercises, interventions, and assistive device recommendations tailored to each students unique requirements
• Support student independence and participation in both classroom and school-based activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date therapy notes, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and district standards
