Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Arizona physical therapist license
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet varied student needs
- Team-oriented with a passion for supporting student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services within elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote successful student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students physical development and access to the curriculum
