Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in California
• Previous experience in a pediatric or educational setting preferred
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and manage a diverse caseload
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation requirements
• Adaptability, creativity, and a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' motor needs and functional abilities
• Design and implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions within the school setting
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals
• Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and state policies
• Educate staff and families on strategies to optimize student mobility and participation in classroom activities
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote inclusion and student success
• Adjust therapy approaches as needed to ensure each students continued growth
