What we're looking for:

• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New Mexico (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working in a school or with pediatric populations preferred
• Proficiency in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Compassionate communication skills with students, teachers, and families
• Adaptability and creativity in tailoring therapeutic approaches to diverse needs
• Strong record-keeping and progress documentation abilities

What youll do:

• Assess students motor skills and develop individualized physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative services in classrooms and dedicated therapy spaces
• Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting student progress beyond therapy sessions
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress to all relevant parties
• Advocate for students functional access to academics and environments through adaptive equipment or accommodations
