Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy principles
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs is a plus

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver direct and consultative Physical Therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess and document students abilities, progress, and needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans that enhance students' physical functioning and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations related to motor development and access to educational opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
