Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful Physical Therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school sites. Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Physical Therapy license for the state of South Carolina
  • Strong experience working in school settings with students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation standards, and therapeutic modalities for pediatrics
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite only (remote work is not available for this position)
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to ethical care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person physical therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload at designated schools
  • Assess, plan, and execute individualized interventions to support students academic and functional performance
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring, data collection, and timely documentation in compliance with legal and district requirements
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal outcomes and integrate therapy into the educational context
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute specialized input as part of the student support team
  • Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and school-based therapy trends
