Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Physical Therapist license and State Board of PT certification required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly preferred
- Background in healthcare or educational-focused PT services is a plus
- Ability to work onsite, full time preferred, but part time applicants (minimum 3 days/week) will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive PT services to students, supporting mobility, physical development, and independence within the school environment
- Collaborate with fellow therapists, teachers, and special education staff to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of student progress and ongoing needs
- Communicate effectively with staff and families to foster an inclusive and supportive educational setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
