The ideal candidate brings expertise and enthusiasm to adapt therapy plans for children and adolescents with diverse needs. Youll work closely with teachers and families to facilitate progress and independence in the school environment.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Michigan physical therapist license (MI PT)
• School-based and/or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable adapting interventions across a range of grade levels
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students from elementary through high school
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, families, and support staff
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress
• Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with educational and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
• Provide education and support for teachers and families regarding student needs
