In this engaging role, you will provide expert physical therapy services to middle school students, helping them achieve greater mobility, independence, and confidence in their educational environment.

As a vital partner in the school setting, youll collaborate closely with educators and families, tailoring therapy plans to each students unique needs. This is a full-time position, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule for a total of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist certification/license in Connecticut (PT in CT required)
• Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred, especially with middle school age group
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
• Passion for empowering young learners to overcome physical challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students physical therapy needs and set measurable goals
• Develop and implement effective therapy interventions within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate therapy plans into the classroom
• Monitor, document, and adjust individualized programs based on student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and share insights on student needs and achievements
• Educate staff and families on supportive techniques to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions
