Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Physical Therapist supporting a diverse student population across multiple schools. This contract position follows two key timelines: provide essential ESY services July 830, 2026 (MondayThursday, 8:00 am12:30 pm) and transition to a full-time schedule from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (MondayFriday, 8:00 am3:30 pm, 35 hours weekly).

Responsibilities:

• Offer direct and consultative physical therapy services to students of all grade levels.
• Collaborate with a PT/PTA team to address the motor needs of approximately 50 students, traveling between assigned schools (travel kept as localized as possible; mileage reimbursed).
• Participate in IEP meetings, effectuate plan implementation, and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• For Pre-K students: complete evaluations (TPBA-certified therapists welcomed), implement interventions, and ensure compliance with all related requirements (fingerprinting required for Pre-K caseloads).
• Adapt therapy plans to best meet each students individual goals and needs across a school-based setting.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience working in pediatric, early intervention, or school-based settings highly valued.
• Familiarity with transdisciplinary play-based assessment (TPBA) is advantageous, but not required.
• Willingness and eligibility to be fingerprinted for Pre-K services.
• Ability to travel between schools and adapt to varying schedules and student environments.
