This contract role offers the chance to work full-time, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade within a school district near Wilmington, NC. Youll become a valued member of a collaborative educational team, providing essential therapy services that help students achieve their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active North Carolina Physical Therapist License
- School-based experience is a strong plus but not required; clinicians eager to transition into a school setting are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated passion for supporting student development and well-being
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, ages PreK12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEPs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educators and other specialists
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed to support student outcomes
- Provide guidance to staff and families on strategies to maximize mobility and participation in the school setting
