Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid California Physical Therapist license required
• Experience working within school settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and document progress
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and a student-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their motor development and functional mobility
• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans based on each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Consult with classroom teachers and staff to recommend classroom accommodations and modifications
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate families on ways to support therapeutic progress at home
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
