Key qualifications and experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt treatment plans for diverse student needs and developmental levels

What youll be doing:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine functional motor levels, strengths, and needs
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on student goals and educational requirements
• Provide direct therapy sessions individually or in small groups, monitoring progress regularly
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family members to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
• Maintain accurate records, participate in IEP meetings, and complete required reporting
• Deliver education to staff and families regarding physical development and recommendations
