Exciting part-time contract opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist to support K-12 students in an engaging school environment near Somerville, MA. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (MA PT) License required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches across various age groups (K-12)
  • Passion for supporting students individualized needs and physical growth
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with educators and student support teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct PT services to K-12 students as determined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess students motor skills, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate records and document interventions according to school and state standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students participation in school activities
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to foster inclusive environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluation
