Qualifications:

• Current and valid Louisiana physical therapist license
• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desired

• Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to evidence-based practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings, in alignment with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Evaluate students, develop appropriate treatment goals, and monitor progress toward achieving desired outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
• Document assessment findings, interventions, and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Offer guidance and training to school staff and families regarding strategies and accommodations that enhance student participation and access
• Contribute to a positive learning environment by supporting inclusion and mobility for all students
