Exciting short-term contract opportunity for a talented physical therapist looking to make a direct impact in a school setting! Work with a small group of students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program based near Seattle, WA. This on-site role is ideal for professionals ready to support students functional mobility and physical development in a collaborative, educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Valid Washington State ESA certification
- Previous experience providing PT services in a school environment, with knowledge of IEP processes
- Ability to independently manage a caseload of 10-15 students ranging in age and developmental needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy to students as part of ESY services
- Implement IEP goals and track student progress
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure best practices
- Document all services provided and maintain compliance with state educational requirements
- Participate in team meetings as needed to support student outcomes
Position Details:
- On-site only, Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day
- Dates: July 6 July 31, 2026
- Caseload: 10-15 students receiving ESY PT services
