Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students growth and mobility in an educational setting. This contracted, part-time role is hiring for the 26/27 school year and provides the chance to make a meaningful difference for PreK-8th grade students. The position requires 20 hours per week, allowing a balanced work schedule while still impacting students success, independence, and quality of life.

Ideal candidates bring strong clinical skills and a warm, collaborative approach to working alongside educators, students, and families. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, youll assess students motor skills, develop and implement targeted therapy plans, and help each child reach their full potential in both academic and everyday activities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Physical Therapist license
  • Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and write individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to PreK-8th grade students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Monitor student progress, update goals, and maintain documentation
  • Provide consultative support and training to school staff as needed
