Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in Minnesota
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse age groups and developmental needs
- Proficiency with IEP processes and documentation standards
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct physical therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for program planning
- Educate school staff and families about strategies for improving student mobility and access
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with district standards
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate a range of ages and skill levels
