Job Description

In this role, youll use your expertise to assess students needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions within a supportive school environment. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active California Physical Therapist license required
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing student needs and school schedules
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to student success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations for K-12th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy sessions and document student progress
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
  • Empower students to overcome physical challenges, ensuring access to learning
  • Educate staff and families on therapeutic strategies and carryover
  • Maintain all required documentation and comply with district and state policies
