Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active California Physical Therapist license required.
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and staff.
• Skilled at evaluating, planning, and delivering direct therapy.
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling to multiple school campuses as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students per IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and other specialists.
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and posture in classroom settings.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and student progress reviews.
