Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active and valid California PT license (required)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel between a dozen or more school sites as caseloads are small at each location
  • Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to serve a wide age range, including early childhood through transition students
  • Excellent organization, communication, and documentation abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite physical therapy services in a school environment
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Support students motor development and functional mobility to enhance access to the educational setting
  • Travel efficiently between multiple school sites throughout the district
  • Document services provided and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students served
