A physical therapist is needed for a contract opportunity in a supportive school setting near San Juan Capistrano, CA. You'll work alongside educators and other allied professionals to deliver high-quality physical therapy services that help each student reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid California Physical Therapist license required
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students physical therapy needs
• Create and carry out individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and advocate for accessibility
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress notes as required by school and legal guidelines
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver consultative support and in-service training to school staff as needed
